Kuni Lemel In Cairo (1983)
Kuni Lemel returns with his twin Muni for a third film in KUNI LEMEL IN CAIRO (KUNI LEMEL B'KAHIR). Mike Burstyn plays both twins in this musical comedy about a trip to Egypt. The pair have been charged with the important task of bringing a Torah to a Jewish community in Cairo. In return, they'll be given a set of ancient coins to return to Israel. But things will never go smoothly as long as Kuni is involved. KUNI LEMEL IN CAIRO was directed by Israeli filmmaker Joel Silberg and is historically significant as the first film from the Jewish state permitted to shoot in Egypt.
